TATV GRAL releases Treachery remix EP featuring Daniel Myer, Chris Vrenna, William Faith, and [melter]
The EP launch on Monday was accompanied by the new video premiere of the DSTR Remix.
Chicago-based dark synth / industrial artist Tatv Gral (ˈtätü ˈgräl) announces the release of the Treachery EP, a remix EP featuring the original single version of ‘Treachery’, produced by William Faith at 13 Studio, alongside exclusive remixes by DSTR (Daniel Myer of Haujobb), Tweaker (Chris Vrenna of NIN), and fellow Chicago industrial outfit [melter]. The EP was released on Monday, 6 July 2026. Tatv Gral‘s Allen Addington says of the remix collection:
“Rather than asking the artists to simply remix ‘Treachery’, I invited each of them to uncover something I hadn’t expressed – or a hidden potential within the song. The results surprised me. Each collaborator revealed a different emotional perspective, transforming the EP into an unexpected journey, rather than a collection of alternate versions. William Faith’s production opened an entirely different emotional space, Daniel Myer’s DSTR remix became the search, [melter] intensified the crisis, and Tweaker explored its aftermath. Together they revealed possibilities within the song that I hadn’t recognized until I heard the finished project.”
Launching alongside the EP is a new video for the DSTR remix of Treachery, which premiered exclusively via Side-Line.com on 6 July. While some continuity from the original clip is present, moreover, the new video presents a distinct visual interpretation of Daniel Myer’s reimagining of the song, relocating it within Chicago’s historic industrial music landscape.
Musically, Tatv Gral draws on the colder edges of industrial, EBM and dark electronic music, combining mechanical rhythms, claustrophobic textures and cinematic tension with an emotionally exposed vocal approach. Coil‘s occult philosophy as genuine practice is at the centre of Tatv Gral‘s frame of reference, while other influences range from Chicago’s industrial lineage via WAX TRAX! Records to the brutalist intersection of early British and German electronic music, shaped by the severity of Kraftwerk and DAF, while also maintaining a distinctly personal and contemporary perspective.
The Treachery EP is Out Now via Bandcamp, Spotify, and streaming platforms worldwide.
