Psyclon Nine – ”And Then Oblivion”
New Album / LP | CD | digital
out 21st March 2025 (Metropolis Records)
‘And Then Oblivion’ is the eighth studio album by Psyclon Nine, the ‘blackened industrial’ scene figurehead act led by Nero Bellum since their inception in California 25 years ago. Issued via Metropolis Records, it includes the recent singles ‘I Choose Violence’ and ‘Devil’s Work’, with a video for the track ‘CRWLNG FRM CNT T CSKT’ also made available 24 hours after album release (UK/CET time).
Melding elements of Industrial Rock, Metal, Deathcore, Ambient and Trap, band leader Nero Bellum has previously stated that the writing and recording of ‘And Then Oblivion’ had seen him “specifically set out to break as many genre limitations as possible, while staying true to the concepts and imagery that Psyclon Nine evokes.”
The new album follows the recent completion of the band’s Devil’s Work XXV US tour and ahead of a just announced set of European dates, the schedule for which can be read below.
